Radical Akali leader Simranjeet Singh Mann lost the election from Dhanaula constituency, while Prem Singh Chandumajra was defeated in Lehra constituency. Chandumajra, who had joined the Akali Dal just before the elections lost to Rajinder Kaur Bhattal.
