The Punjab Governor and Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh, Gen. (Retd.) S.F. Rodrigues, PVSM VSM, while presiding over the meeting of Board of Governors of Punjab Public School, Nabha at Punjab Raj Bhavan, appreciated the performance of Public School Nabha in Horse riding, shooting and other sports activities.It was informed that the process for the construction of Indoor Multi-facility sport complex has already been started. Besides this the facilities for training the students in shooting has also been created with the help of the Western Command, Chandimandir.

Mr. Manpreet Singh Badal, Finance Minister, Punjab, while participating in the discussion assured all support from the Punjab Government in promoting the education standard of the PPS Nabha. He also emphasized that competent and qualified faculty should be attracted to the institution by giving them handsome remuneration, to impart quality education to the students.

The Board of Governors meeting also discussed various issues for bringing about academic and infrastructure improvement of the institution. Four new members have also joined the School Board of Governors in the capacity of ex-offico members which included S. Parkash Singh Badal, Chief Minister of Punjab, Mr. Manpreet Badal, Finance Minister, Dr. Upinderjit Kaur, Education Minister and Mr. Ramesh Inder Singh IAS, Chief Secretary, Punjab.
Commodore (Retd.) I.L. Sayal, Headmaster of Public School Nabha gave a detailed account of the activities and achievements of the Institution.

Agrawal, Principal Secretary to Government of Punjab, Mr. Vijay Kain, Principal Secretary, Defence Services, Punjab, Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Mr. Vijay Oberoi, Brig. Sukhjit Singh, Mr. N.S.
